Well, that’s quite a bomb for the beginning of the week and even though there’s been no official press release yet, half of the Western hemisphere knows that the new RADIOHEAD album ‘The King Of Limbs’ will be dropping this Saturday already in digital format and as of 9th May as the world’s first “Newspaper” album.
The contents of this edition according to the album website are:
* Two clear 10" vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve.
* A compact disc.
* Many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together.
* The Newspaper Album comes with a digital download that is compatible with all good digital media players.
A normal CD version is said to be released in the UK on 28th March. Nothing reliable on any release outside of the UK in the said format yet, but we’ll keep you in the loop.
