Epic hails from Switzerland’s underground! Winterthur’s finest, MEGATON SWORD’s debut ‘Niralet’ is here! Dying Victims Productions once again delivered a nice extraordinary chunk of mystic Metal. MEGATON SWORD’s sound is, just like their gnarly moniker, heavy as the actual fuck. Once you get accustomed to the rather unorthodox voice of Uzzy Unchained you get to realize the class of the compositions and the raw power of the bands overall theatrical approach to Metal. What these guys manage to pack into just five songs (mini epics) is remarkable and it sets a scent mark to remember. Every fan of bands like CIRITH UNGOL, MANILLA ROAD and CLOVEN HOOF should check out MEGATON SWORD and support this young and obviously talented band, don’t waste your money on plastic Metal, overproduced bunglers and hyped fucks dominating the print magazines owned by big publishers. Check out the real deal and support the underground because guys like this keep our music and our scene alive with their hunger and their endurance. MEGATON SWORD easily evade being retro without a bit of over-modernity.
