Another Heavy Metal band that plays music with Tolkien texts you say? Yes! I am not ashamed to admit that I dig fantasy themed lyrics if they are well written and sung and this is the case when speaking about the music of this bunch of English lads. If you dig bands like MANOWAR, VISIGOTH or ETERNAL CHAMPION these guys might be your cup of tea. ‘The Heart Of The Mountain Horde’ has it all: high-pitched screams, heroic lyrics and an overall epic feeling to the music thanks to riffs sharp like blades, drums that call to war and an ever present bass-line that drives every warrior to spearhead the final attack. May this be a happy end for all involved artists so we can watch and hear this sound grow ever better and grant them immortality in the halls of Heavy Metal.
