White Lies & In The Valley Below
Since the release of their debut album in 2009, British press calls this band the “successor of JOY DIVISION or THE JESUS & MARY CHAIN” and puts them on the same level as EDITORS or INTERPOL. Also the band’s international success was steadily growing. Having a new album, ‘Big TV’, released in summer, WHITE LIES are now on a tour to present it to their fans. And many fans followed the call. The Live-Music-Hall in Cologne was packed. But before the evening’s headliner entered the stage, IN THE VALLEY BELOW were warming up the audience.

Iceland Airwaves Day 4: Kiriyama Family, Moses Hightower, Bloodgroup, Mac Demarco, Money, Asgeir, ON AN ON
The 12 ON venues of the third day were Amsterdam, Gamla Bio, Gamli Gaukurinn, Harlem, Harpa Kaldalon, Harpa Nordurljos, Harpa Silfurberg, Hresso, Idno, Reykjavik Art Museum, Pjodleikhus Kjallarinn. As in the third day, we went to Harpa to enjoy music on two venues there, the Silfurberg and the Nordurljos.

Solitary Experiments “Tour De Phenomena 2013” & Support: Enter and Fall
In the course of their current “Tour de Phenomena”, SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS stopped also in Bochum, where they played at the “Empire of Darkness Live Edition”. Playing at this event means only five euros entrance fee and a late beginning. The queue at 9:30 was long and people eager to see the show. Just fifteen minutes after opening, support act ENTER AND FALL already entered the stage.

Iceland Airwaves Day 3: Samuel Jon Samuelsson Big Band, Valdimar, John Grant, Apparat Organ Quartet, Omar Souleyman
The first day of November saw 12 ON venues for Iceland Airwaves, the Amsterdam, Frikirkjan, Gamla Bio, Gamli Gaukurinn, Harlem, Harpa Kaldalon, Harpa Nordurljos, Harpa Silfurberg, Hresso, Idno, Reykjavik Art Museum and Pjodleikhus Kjallarinn. Remembering experiences of the first two days, for coming days we have chosen venues inside Harpa.

Omnium Gatherum & Dark Tranquillity
DARK TRANQUILLITY are currently on an extensive tour to promote their new album ‘Construct’ that was released earlier this year. The tour will lead them through Europe and also to USA next year. On 1st November, the band had its appearance in the Finnish capital Helsinki.
