Back in February was when we’ve seen PETER HEPPNER and his band playing last in Duisburg and it was no question we’d be attending this show as well. It’s always worth a trip. Turns out it was more worth the trip than we could’ve imagined.

So we made your ways to Cologne again, this time to see Swedish AVATAR playing at the Underground club. The club was sparsely crowded when we got there and when there still was enough time for more people to arrive. Many, I assumed, wouldn’t show before AVATAR, but those missed the start of the evening with KRASHKARMA.

On the 11th of September, lots of fans of synth pop were gathering at Tochka club to get their portion of good music and staggering emotions. The fitting atmosphere that day was created by the foreign guest namely IRIS and MELOTRON while the commitment to start the event was laid onto Russian band EMPLOSIA. So we came to the venue just in time when the show was about to begin…

PHILLIP BOA, one of Germany’s “Indie” heroes, hits the road again this autumn with his band THE VOODOOCLUB and visits seven selected German cities for a “Best Of” show. We had the pleasure to get a gig just around the corner, literally, with BOA’s concert at the Metropolis club in Münster.
