On the 11th of September, lots of fans of synth pop were gathering at Tochka club to get their portion of good music and staggering emotions. The fitting atmosphere that day was created by the foreign guest namely IRIS and MELOTRON while the commitment to start the event was laid onto Russian band EMPLOSIA. Phillip Boa & The Voodooclub, Sasu
PHILLIP BOA, one of Germany’s “Indie” heroes, hits the road again this autumn with his band THE VOODOOCLUB and visits seven selected German cities for a “Best Of” show. We had the pleasure to get a gig just around the corner, literally, with BOA’s concert at the Metropolis club in Münster.

Simple but unforgettable are the best words to describe OZZY OSBOURNE’s show in Moscow. The talented person doesn’t need any astonishing special effects, complicated scenery or tricks in the best traditions of Houdini and all these in spite of his venerable age when it’s time for something pompous and bombastic.

Bloodstock Open Air Day 2: Children of Bodom, Fear Factory, Devin Townsend, Amorphis, Obituary, Edguy, Onslaught, Evile, Leaves’ Eyes, Andromeda
Also the second festival day had a lot of great bands to offer, from female fronted LEAVES’ Eyes to FEAR FACTORY and doomy CHILDREN OF BODOM. But first, our day started with ANDROMEDA.

Bloodstock Open Air Day 1: Snakebite, Black Spiders, Ross the Boss, Rage, Ensiferum, Gorgoroth, Sonata Arctica, Cathedral, Meshuggah, Opeth
Bloodstock has gone from strength to strength in recent years as all good festivals should. Starting some 10 years ago as a modest affair, it has grown into what resembles WACKEN's baby English cousin. As ever organisation was great, toilets generally tolerable and the food and drinks in the metal village wasn't so overpriced it made you wince (£3.00 for a burger, £1.50 for a coffee). So with tent pitched we razzed on down to the arena, to see the bands, and it went something like this...
