Album Review

Three years after their debut album 'Abyss Desires' the duo AVOID-A-VOID are back with their new album titled 'Musique Noire'. The album contains 10 tracks and it's full of nice melodies, catchy choruses and very good vocals. Songs like ‘Myself Within’, ‘Nothing’ and ‘Who Cares’ for sure will stuck in your mind after the first listening, also some songs like ‘S Got Kryptonite’ or ‘Untouchable’ are having all the components they need to played on the dance floors. The surprise on this album is the opening track which is the self titled track of the album and it is a dark, claustrophobic, industrial track completely different from the band's style. Compared with their debut album 'Abyss Desires', 'Musique Noire' is having better vocals, more melodic orientation and more catchy songs which shows that during the three years that have past since 'Abyss Desires' the band worked hard to improve their sound and their songs (this doesn't mean that 'Abyss Desires' is a bad album). Closing to say that if you are a fan of bands like DE/VISION,MESH or CAMOUFLAGE definitely you must give a chance to 'Musique Noir'.
