Album Review
CONFUSION IS NEXT was formed in February 2004 by Matteo Radice and Lorenzo Nocerino, in grey high school in Monza a city in the north part of Italy. They decided to start make some noise together, form a grunge band and write original songs. In October, Giuseppe Pinnavaria and Fabrizio Pontiggia joined the band and in December the band had their first live debut. CONFUSION IS NEXT has released two records before this one, ‘Spread the Spirit’ in 2005 and ‘Lost in the Dark Days’ in 2008. CONFUSION IS NEXT is a band with a sound of their own and their latest record ‘The generation of this order’ has a good set of songs. ‘Graffiti’ is a cool and laidback song that really just flows over me when I listen to it. ‘Anemones & Elephants’ has an interesting sound, it feels stripped down in a way and I really like. My favourite on the record is ‘Lichens on the Lich gate’ - it’s a beautiful and strong song where Matteo sings really well. Listening to this record makes me very curious of how this bands other records sounds like...
