Album Review

Legendary Rome-based electro act CHAOS/ORDER strike back with the third and final part of ‘The Trilogy of the Colours’, ‘Significance of Blood’ (aka The Red Album). This album terminates a journey started 10 years ago with the ‘black chapter’. There is also a limited edition of this album available - limited to 150 copies, including the full length CD ‘Flood’, special artwork and a postcard. The regularly release offers 9 tracks, including one special - a skinny puppy cover of the song ‘candle’. It is totally re-arranged to fit in the mood of this album - an obscure electro masterpiece. This LP sounds very similar to minimal club sounds; trance and experimental elements are combined and underlined with harsh EBM - sounds. But there’s no development in this music, it sounds very monotone and seems to be boring after a while. There is no demand on their lyrics and their music - only by continue listening. My conclusion to this album: It would suffice to fill dance floors.
