The BossHoss - “Twenty F**kung Years” - Very Special Guest: Kiefer Sutherland
Last weekend, THE BOSSHOSS were guests at Wasserschloss Klaffenbach on their “Twenty F**kung Years” tour together with their special guest KIEFER SUTHERLAND. It was a hot summer day and with the wonderful weather it was clear that it would be a hot concert evening. Even before the event began, Alec Völkel and Sascha Vollmer were able to inspire THE BOSSHOSS fans at Wasserschloss Klaffenbach with their closeness to the community. Both were in front of the stage after doors opened. Many fans were very happy to have a quick meeting and took the opportunity to take selfies with their stars. With the good mood of the fans in front of the stage and the beautiful backdrop of Wasserschloss Klaffenbach in the background, everyone could look forward to a great event.

Black Lower Castle Festival Day 2 with Gulvøss, Zoodrake, Rroyce, Melotron, Solar Fake and Diary of Dreams
We kick off Saturday with a hearty breakfast at our chosen café for the weekend and take a leisurely stroll through the nearby “Park an der Ilm” (also known as Ilm Park or Goethe Park). In the late afternoon, we head to Kranichfeld, parking our carriage at quarter past four and heading back towards the entrance. There seems to be quite a buzz at the merch stand already. I also pay a visit to the merch stand right away.

Black Lower Castle Festival Day 1 with Atlas Bird, X-Perience, 80’s Express and Forced to Mode
The third edition of the Black Lower Castle Festival kicks off this year on Friday, dedicated entirely to the 80s and 90s. Our travel group, coming from all different directions to Kranichfeld, has chosen Weimar as our base for this year. So, I’m leaving work early and heading out on Friday afternoon to the charming provincial town where Goethe and Schiller, Cranach and Bach, Wieland and Herder, Liszt and Strauss, and later Nietzsche and Feininger strolled through the winding alleys, inviting squares, and vast parks. This small town on the Ilm is bursting with cultural history, so we can’t resist taking a leisurely walk through the Ilm Park on Saturday afternoon before heading back to Niederburg for another wonderful day at the festival. But first things first, but not necessarily in that order.
