Deine Lakaien, Vic Anselmo
Five years it took, of course not in silence but filled with different kind of work, till DEINE LAKAIEN came up with their eighth record Indicator. A fantastic album that easily can be labeled as the band’s most elaborated and sophisticated work so far. Much more exciting was the fact that DEINE LAKAIEN would support their newest effort with a tour right after the release. Having already experienced a solo Veljanov show, I knew that I could expect a wonderful evening.

Apocalyptica & Livingston
The live shows of APOCALYPTICA are known for their capabilities of setting a huge audience into rapture at once. On their actual tour, they played only four gigs in Germany, one of them at the C-Halle in Berlin. Support was no other than the South-African LIVINGSTON who sure knew how to bring the audience into the right mood.

Apocalyptica, Livingston
It was going to be APOCALYPTICA’s last gig in Germany… for a while… two days and if you don’t get to play for two days to come, you’re aiming to make the current one count, right? As expected before the queue was nothing to call it short. Everyone wanted to see that spectacle going down. Support was the multi-cultural group LIVINGSTON and I wondered how they’d be accepted by the Metal audience.

And One, f.o.d. & Gecko Sector
Steve Naghavi’s AND ONE invited his fans to the “Tanz-o-mat Fulltime Show”, a short tour through a couple of German cities. What might look like a short tour between two albums to convert fan devotion into cash turns out as a completely different story. We checked out the sold-out show at the Stahlwerk in Düsseldorf, which also featured the support acts GECKO SECTOR and F.O.D.!
