Fall Out Boy, Dúné
‘This ain’t a scene, it’s an arms race’ - the single that made FALL OUT BOY famous in Germany. Releasing their first album ‘Fall Out Boy's Evening out with your Girlfriend’ in 2003, they soon became one of the best known alternative rock bands in the USA. This year, the German fans finally got to see what spirit they deliver on stage.

CombiChrist, Reaper, KLOQ, Controlled Collapse
The concert of COMBICHRIST, REAPER, KLOQ and CONTROLLED COLLAPSE got the status of one of the most important events this year long before the bands actually arrived in Cracow. Great line-up, very fine conditions secured by the organizers - Blue Moon Independent Agency - and the atmosphere of the whole event will surely be remembered by those who managed to come. This had been a second visit of COMBICHRIST in Poland and what comes to my mind is that they're definitely one of those bands that are most loved and appreciated.

Kreator, Celtic Frost
Two European metal giants, Swiss Celtic Frost and German Kreator stopped by Belgium as co-headliners for their second gig of a long tour of 25 concerts across Europe, ending on April 5th in Hamburg. Both bands have been around for more than 20 years and are considered as masters in their style, respectively black/doom metal and thrash metal. This explains also why in the audience we could see two generations of Metal Heads attending the grand anti-mass of dark music. It was Friday evening and Hof Ter Lo was definitely sold out. We arrived late and unfortunately could not see the support bands Watain (Sweden) and Legion Of The Damned (Netherlands), but we were not the only ones as more people were still arriving.

Stone Sour, Krieger
These days, the name Corey Taylor is above all related to his band SLIPKNOT and himself hiding his face behind a certain mask - at least when you ask many teenagers. SLIPKNOT have become quite famous during the last few years and are some kind of idols for many kids and youths all over the world. But a few years before the extreme metal heads from Des Moines (Iowa, USA) went out to capture the hearts of the angry and misunderstood, Corey Taylor has founded the band STONE SOUR. And this evening in March they had come to the Longhorn Stuttgart with their German support KRIEGER; they are at the moment doing a little tour through Germany, also to promote their newest release ‘Come What(ever) May’ (Roadrunner Records, 2006). These days in spring they are starting on the bigger “Jägermeister Tour” through the US, Australia and Japan together with LACUNA COIL and SHADOWS FALL. As one could expect, the Longhorn was well-filled, if not sold-out, and many people in SLIPKNOT shirts could be spotted. About an hour after the admission, KRIEGER came on stage relatively prompt.

2raumwohnung, Werle & Stankowski
On Saturday 24th March 2007 we went to the WESTSTADTHALLE in ESSEN to enjoy 2RAUMWOHNUNG and their support on their current tour. I hate the WESTSTADTHALLE because this location is boring and without charm in my opinion, but anyway I was curious to see 2RAUMWOHNUNG because I've never see them live on stage. I didn't know the support band WERLE & STANKOWSKI I and so I was curious to see them too.
