Schelmish
Only a handful of people came to the Kammgarn in the Cotton Club. Schelmish, the self constituted “fattest mediaeval band from Germany”, stopped in Kaiserslautern. About 200 fans were sitting or standing sporadic in the Cotton Club and waited for the band. Dextro, Schelmish`s singer, welcomed the cotton club and told us, that the band still has too much alcohol in their veins from the day before. But you don’t saw anything of that! Kreator, Dark Tranquility, Ektomorph, Hatesphere
Finally the long expected record of Kreator came out and again they do a long promotion tour. The record “Enemy Of God”
is well received an the venues are almost everywhere sold out. Also
they are booked for some big summer festivals. A good sign that the
band is still growing after all those years. When the fans were not
convinced: the tour package was so strong that you couldn’t hesitate.

After Forever
It´s still a mystery to me how we finally got a parking place in the neighbourhood of the venue. When we drove to the city of Leiden nearly every street was closed. Not even GPS was able to help us going through this labyrinth of streets.
In the end we arrived at the LVC and a couple of After Forever fans were already standing in front of the venue. It took around twenty minutes to get inside because the guy who checked the ticket and sold the drinking tokens seemed to be swamped with doing these two jobs at the same time.
