THE CHRISTMAS BALL FESTIVALS25.-27. DECEMBER 2012: COLOGNE – HANOVER – BERLIN
From 25th till 27th December the Christmas Ball Festivals 2012 invite you to a dark „Rock Around The Christmas Tree“. For the 6th edition we again give you four irresistible reasons to hit the road and spend the night, rocking Christmas holiday, in fair custom, with festivities of a special kind.
THE LINE-UP
Leading the line-up as this years headliner, we were able to win the Bavarian electro-rockers EISBRECHER, whose current opus „Die Hölle muss warten“ („Hell has to wait“) entered the top 3 of the German album charts. Following the album release, the recently conducted „Höllentour 2012“ brought forth various outselling shows and boiling venues all across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With the Christmas Ball Festivals, Alexx Wesselsky and Noel Pix are going to crown their most successful year to-date, with their immensely powerful live performances.Furthermore electronic-pioneers PROJECT PITCHFORK will return in 2012 for more Christmas Ball extravaganza. With heavy electronics and inventive sounds the band from Hamburg combines strong lyrical concepts with timeless sounds for a dark club culture, still holding on close to the wind after more than 20 years.
Directly from the USA we also welcome THE CRÜXSHADOWS. The band around mastermind Rogue contributes a fine blend of dark-rock-, folk- und dance-elements to the festival, stirring up the crowd, with enthralling live-performances of extreme intensity. Last but not least, Berlin-based newcomers THE WARS are going to round up the Christmas Ball Festivals 2012 with a stylish chunk of new-wave.
THE VENUES
This year the Christmas Ball Festival tour will already start out on 25.12.2012 at the Theater am Tanzbrunnen, Cologne. On 26.12. spirits are rising at the Capitol in Hanover, while the final act of the festival tour will be conducted at C-Halle, Berlin on 27.12.2012. Doors open at 6pm all nights. The shows are scheduled to begin at 7pm.
TICKET PRE-SELLING
Ticket pre-selling for the Christmas Ball Festivals starts on 27.04.2012. Tickets will be available at the Protain ticketshop under www.protain-ticket.de. Also the festival tickets will be offered by all nationwide CTS/EVENTIM and ADticket box-offices. The ticket price is located at 29,00 € plus charges.
