From 25th till 27th December the Christmas Ball Festivals 2012 invite you again to „Rock Around The Christmas Tree". For the 6th edition we give you four irresistible reasons to hit the road and spend the night, rocking Christmas holiday in Cologne, Hanover and Berlin with festivities of a special kind.
THE LINE-UP
Headlining this year´s line-up, we were able to win the Bavarian electro-rockers EISBRECHER. The top 3 chart-breakers convinced by successfully placing a masterstroke of engaging rock-hymns and gripping power ballads with their current opus „Die Hölle muss warten" („Hell has to wait"). After the sold out "Höllentour" in spring, opening appearances for the legendary Scorpions and headliner shows on the biggest summer festivals, EISBRECHER are now going to put the icing onto their most successful year so far by playing exclusive end–of –year shows you can´t afford to miss at the Christmas Ball Festivals 2012.
Danceable, gritty and electronic, Hamburg based scene-pioneers PROJECT PITCHFORK do not shy away from masterfully spicing up their multi-layered, timeless sound with philosophic thoughts. For over 20 years mastermind Peter Spilles has demonstrated many times, how to follow your own way and to set new trends while constantly cultivating your beloved corners & edges. With countless classic tunes like „Conjure", „Souls", „God Wrote", „Existence" and „Timekiller" PROJECT PITCHFORK have become mandatory for every scene-party ever since. Yet, there is only one place where they are even more exciting: that´s Christmas holiday on a live-stage!
As the third party of the pack, we welcome THE CRÜXSHADOWS from the United States. After a long but eventful break, the band around the charismatic front-man Rogue returned this summer. Known for their unique blend of dark rock, folk and dance elements the Americans recently released their brand new album „As The Dark Against My Halo" and will be back in Germany for the Christmas Ball Festivals 2012.
The new-wave specialists THE WARS are going to round up this winter tale, following the Christmas Ball Festivals 2012 as opening act.
THE VENUES
This time the Christmas Ball Festival tour starts out on 25.12.2012 at the "Theater am Tanzbrunnen", Cologne. On 26.12. spirits will be lifted at the "Capitol" in Hanover, while the final act of the festival tour will be conducted at "C-Halle", Berlin on 27.12.2012. Doors open at 6pm every night. The shows are scheduled to begin at 7pm.
TICKET PRE-SELLING
Tickets are available now at the Protain ticketshop www.protain-ticket.de. Also the festival tickets will be offered by all nationwide CTS/EVENTIM and ADticket box-offices. The ticket price is located at 29,00 € plus charges.
