Kraftwerk have announced three US dates leading up to their previously announced show at the Coachella Festival in April on their MySpace page at www.myspace.com/kraftwerk. Apart from the dates there is nothing new reported on the official MySpace hub which is as sober as the band's music. Do have a visit, as the live MTV Music Awards video and a special flash micro site embedded on the page could be interesting for some hardcore fans. "GLIS 2001-2008 a shot and a bassline, the revisited collection", an album title which has as much importance as its sub-title: "15 tracks re-cut and remastered by Krischan Wesenberg of ROTERSAND". GLIS' frontman Shaun Frandsen indeed brings us something entirely unique in today's dark scene. A straight re-cut concept for which he teamed up with Krischan Wesenberg (known for being the man behind the music of ROTERSAND) who worked from the fully mastered original versions of the 15 selected tracks. He rearranged the songs, used some parts from one song and cuts from others, adding overdubs to the re-edits, new beat elements, additional sequences, effects and filtering; basically making every track different from the original recordings.- Details

The ring rockers exceeded all expectations. Already in mid March the fans of Germany’s most popular rock festival saved all 85.000 tickets. Completely SOLD OUT, the booking offices announced for Rock am Ring nearly 3 months prior to the Open Air of the Year. Simultaneously, the acceptance for the parallel festival Rock im Park increases, where the exact same program with METALLICA, DIE TOTEN HOSEN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE as absolute headliners is provided. More than 42.500 tickets for the Zeppelin field such a long time before the festival show, that also Rock im Park will surpass the record result of the last year.

UNHEILIG celebrated a grandiose tour start on 13th March 2008 in the sold-out Live Music Hall in Cologne. All in all we counted more than 4.000 concert attendees at the first four UNHEILIG shows in Cologne, Osnabrück, Würzburg and Ludwigsburg. Besides the already sold-out UNHEILIG show on 20th at the Markthalle in Hamburg, we’d like to announce 3 more UNHEILIG shows as sold-out. The concerts on 22nd March at the Factory in Magdeburg, on 27th March at the Kulturfabrik in Krefeld and on 28th March at Werk II – Halle A in Leipzig. Furthermore there are still some tickets left for the concert on 23rd March in Erfurt, so hurry up. We recommend all UNHEILIG fans - who still haven’t bought a ticket – to buy tickets for the show taking place on 30th March at the Columbia Hall in Berlin.
