Electronic/industrial-rock icons SKINNY PUPPY have announced they will return to the road this May with a brand new live show in support of their 13th album, 'Mythmaker' (SPV/Steamhammer).
The tour will kick off with a headlining performance slot at the Convergence 13 Festival May 25 at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR.

As for Marianthi and Sophie … they can’t have enough knobs, multicoloured faders and blinking LEDs. Put them behind an old analogue synthesizer and their creative spirit will spring to life at once… there can be no doubt about it: these ladies are in love with their machines. Under the moniker of Marsheaux, the two unleash a sonic universe full of multicoloured facets and with a distinctly feminine touch from their collection of old Moogs, Korgs and Rolands. Dependent Records are to release the 3rd album, "1023" (ten twenty-three), from Rotersand. Expected for early June, the album holds a title that refers to the room number of a Detroit hotel the trio checked into during their US tour last year: "The atmosphere in this derelict, once luxurious but now forsaken hotel was both sinister and eeire. We felt as though we were in a combination of a surreal computer game and Stephen King's 'The Shining'." - Details

Finnish rockers HIM are delivering two new releases in May in anticipation of their US tour, the greatest hits package "And Love Said No: Greatest Hits 1997-2004" (out May 8th) and "Uneasy Listening Vol. 2", a collection of unreleased tracks (out May 22nd). "And Love Said No: Greatest Hits 1997-2004" (May 8th) is a digitally remastered anthology celebrating their first decade together with an updated selection of the band’s biggest hits. HIM also recorded two brand new songs for this set, the title track and a cover of Neil Diamond's classic "Solitary Man".
