It's been a bit silent around death metal band Krisiun. They toured this month with Testament in South America and also played shows with Hatesphere.
A new European tour is confirmed with bands like Grave, Immolation and supportact Sawn Of Azazel. Krisiun is on tour to promote their last album 'Assasination.'

The Swedish band Entombed is wellknown about their rare liveshows. Since their success in 1990 it went very fast with this metal band. After sixteen years of being in the scene a new EP is released. Death and Napalm Death are the simularities with this metal band. They stood on the Arnhem Metal Meeting, but now they come back to The Netherlands. Cross-Linx festival, is a new Dutch indoor festival. In Enschede, Utrecht and Eindhoven a package with some outstanding bands will enter the stage.
Special headliner is Kashmir, a special band where you can't put a label on. It is catchy, dark, emotional music in a way where Tool can be jalous at.
Cross-linx stands for discovering the Scandinavian, Nordic sounds. Besides Kashmir (Denmark) Kaada (Norway) and Husky Rescue (Finland) are the headliner.

The following announcement was made on Epica's homepage: "We are very happy to announce that we have signed a record deal with Nuclear Blast. Nuclear Blast is one of the biggest and most renowned record companies in metal and has already released albums of top bands like In Flames, Therion, Stratovarius, Children Of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir and Nightwish.
At the moment we are finishing up the recordings of the new album, which is scheduled for release around August/September this year. It was recorded again at the Gate Studio with renowned producer Sascha Paeth. This new album will feature the heaviest material of Epica so far.

Back in January we reported that Clan Of Xymox were planning a brand new MCD holding a coverversion of David Bowie's "Heroes" which frontman Moorings already performed at the WGT 2006 with Pink Turns Blue as the backing band. This has now been confirmed. Out on May 18th will be the MCD "Heroes". The song will come in two different versions, an industrial slow version which is closer to the Clan Of Xymox sound of the song and a pop version which is more of an homage to his time without the Clan. Als included on the 4-track MCD is "On a Mission", a brand new track. The 4th track is "Be My Friend", taken from the "Breaking Point" album and added here in a new mix.
