Century Media Records is proud to announce that LACUNA COIL’s „Karmacode“ has qualified silver in their native country Italy.“It’s so amazing to get a recognition like this in our own country. It’s amazing to know that this is not a fake prize to get more promotion impressing the medias but something that we REALLY deserved for the sold copies of the album “Karmacode”. We worked so hard and with so much passion for this during these years that people got our message strong and clear. The fans are our family and this silver record is for them, most of all, for the support they gave us during the years. Thank you so much.” (Cristina Scabbia)

Strip Music
On 25th January, Swedish STRIP MUSIC released their new album ‘Hollywood & Wolfman’. The original idea behind STRIP MUSIC was a minimalist trio founded by Henric de la Cour and Christian Berg. During the creative process, further members joined and the sound developed to a great and dramatic world of sounds which is now the trade mark of the band. The concept is simple: three chords, massive synthesizer strings and a hard pushing bass drum – a bombastic synth-rock scene with wonderful melodies and lyrics telling about anger, desperation and love. With their mixture of dramatic and rocking elements, the band appeals to Brit-Rock fans as well as Gothic lovers.

In Mitra Medusa Inri are to release a new album - their 7th longplayer - called "KALTE FARBEN" [Apollyon / Alive] in April 2007. Ten new songs and one bonus track will be included. The bonus is no less than "Sag mir wo dir Blumen sind" ("Where have all the flowers gone", originally by singer-songwriter Pete Seeger, 1956 / USA). In Mitra Medusa Inri interpreted this song already back in 1998. After remaining untouched for almost a decade, now the track was reworked, and for the first time comes out of the closet.
Moreover, as a gimmick, a crossword puzzle is attached to the CD box. If you fill in all words correctly, and find the right solution word you WIN: (tata...) An evening with In Mitra Medusa Inri! The band will even cook for you, and together you can listen to the new songs. A tour is under preparation for May, 2007. Please, watch out for news on the band's homepage!
