NAPALM DEATH: Report in from studio, video preview on “Smear Campaign” online!UK’s godfathers of Grindcore have finished recording “Smear Campaign”, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year’s “The Code Is Red…Long Live The Code”. NEVERMORE to record extended performance as main show for upcoming DVDNevermore, Continental Concerts and Century Media Records are proud to announce a special show for the first ever Nevermore DVD. The gig will take place at the Zeche club in Bochum (www.zeche.com), Germany on September 12th, 2006. Seattle’s finest will play a set of about 2 hours, with material spanning their 11-year career. The result will be the main part of their forthcoming home DVD, captured by a 7-camera team, with live recordings handled by producer Andy Sneap, who recorded their latest album "This Godless Endeavor", who will also record true 5.1 Surround sound. The planned double-DVD set will also feature a full Nevermore documentary, live footage from throughout their career, all the band's promo videos and even more extras. The release is planned for early 2007.

Deeply confused and sad, we have to inform you, that Sabine isn't among us anymore!
While the bands rehearsal on Friday the 7.7.06, Sabine suffered a cerebral haemorrhage from which she died a day later at the hospital! On regard to the family and friends, we have decided to take the homepage from the net. We need time now, to decide if and how we approach further and we will not answer any mails at the moment.

Although there has been no official release by the band or his relatives about the date of his passing away it appears to be Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett, founder of Pink Floyd, has died because of a diabetes-related illness on July 7th 2006. Syd Barrett has been out of public life for a long time but has been in the hearts and minds of many Pink Floyd fans all over the world, not to forget the other band members of Pink Floyd, including of course Roger Waters. They have dedicated one of their all time classics to their friend. With a small quote from this masterpiece called 'Shine on you Crazy Diamond' we'd like to remember this remarkable man who was at the cradle of symphonic music.
