We can confirm today that the title for the 11th Paradise Lost album, tentatively due for release in May this year, is to be titled "In Requiem". The artwork for the new album is to be done by Seth Siro Anton, who was the artwork designer for the last album, "Paradise Lost".
The band recently returned from Canada following completion of recording the new CD, produced by Rhys Fulber. The album has been mixed by Mike Fraser - who is well known for his work with bands such as Metallica, AC/DC, Van Halen etc... The album is due to be mastered soon, and we should have more detailed info about it for you in the near future. We can also confirm that the gig to be filmed for the new Live DVD will be taking place on Thursday April 12, at the Koko Club in London.

Element of Crime
The music of ELEMENT OF CRIME consists of several sound crumbs – guitar, bass and drums – and things which would turn out to Rock music within other bands turn out as some kind of folk rock within ELEMENT OF CRIME. It is utterly good and always right. All band members are good musicians who could easily create elaborate songs; but they don’t do that. If you work on classics, overkill is not good.

Melodic Deathers SCAR SYMMETRY have posted the following update on their official homepage www.scarsymmetry.com: "Greetings people! At the moment we're in the midst of writing material for our 3rd album, set to be recorded at the end of the summer. So far we have like 10 songs in the works and there are more set to be written in the near future. Hopefully we'll have around 15-20 songs to choose from, in time for the recording. As goes for coming live-appearances, we're very much looking forward in participating in this year's edition of Progpower UK, set to take place outside of London, at the end of March. Also, like we've told you before in an earlier post, there is a new tour in the works, which we hope will be 100% confirmed shortly, so that we can share some further info with you guys. In the meantime, lets keep our fingers crossed and be sure to check this website at regular intervals!"Source: Newsletter
