Last week, when Graspop was informed that KORN would be cancelling their European tour, the search for a worthy replacement was underway within hours. Unfortunately it’s next to impossible to find a band of the same calibre as Korn on such short notice. Graspop negotiated with TOOL, DEFTONES, LIFE OF AGONY and MACHINE HEAD, but none of these bands were able to confirm their visit to GMM2006. As a result, GUNS N’ ROSES will take the stage a bit sooner and play a longer set! Other bands like MY DYING BRIDE and ALICE IN CHAINS will also play a slightly longer set.You can download the updated running order here: http://www.graspop.be/pages/kalender_tijd.php

Some information about the record release party in Berlin, Postbahnhof on June, 30th, 2006. Every guest must have a valid ticket. You can get tickets at every ticket sale service in Germany or via www on e.g. www.eventim.de. These tickets are valid for the concert and the aftershow party in the same venue. The party will end at about 5 am, so everyone who didn't get a hotel room can stay at the party over night. *Doors open at 8 pm, concert starts at 9 pm.*

British heavy rockers PARADISE LOST have issued the following statement regarding their upcoming U.K. tour with OPETH:"There seems to be a lot of confusion on various forums about this forthcoming OPETH/PARADISE LOST tour. PARADISE LOST is NOT a support band for OPETH, they are special guests and therefore will be playing a full one-hour set. Not 30, or 40 minutes as some people assume."
