VNV NATION are currently working with high pressure to finish their upcoming album 'Judgement' and prepare the coming tour. Fist, the tour will lead the band to Germany and Belgium in March where the final show will take place in the current home town Hamburg. Also the dates for the second part in may are now confirmed. The tour will lead the band then to Barcelona, Madrid, Pratteln (Switzerland), Munich and Eindhoven, Losheim/Saar, Paris and Stuttgart.

The band will finally give its live premiere at this year´s Wave Gotik treffen in Leipzig on 25th May. Nearly no recent interview left out the question when the band will be live on stage. Now finally it will happen during the famous WGT. They will play around midnight at the main stage in the Agra venue and you can be sure that THE RETROSIC will have some surprises in stock for their first ever live appearance.

With "Different World" IRON MAIDEN release their second single coming from their number one album "A Matter Of Life And Death" on 29th December. The single will come out in three different configurations – a two-track one (including a live track from the current tour), a 7" picture vinyl, as well as a DVD single, including Howard Greenhalgh ´s video for "Different World", the first single ´s live version "The Reincarnation OF Benjamin Breeg", as well as a brand new studio track called "Hocus Pocus". The US Tour with LACUNA COIL has finally finished. IN FLAMES bass player Peter Iwers has posted the following statement regarding this:"Hey all! Thanx a lot for a great tour. It was so much fun being on the road with LACUNA COIL, THE SWORD and THE SEEMLESSES, great people and great bands. Right now I´m on the plane over to Sweden, where I´m looking forward to spending a nice holiday with my family. I bought my daughter a cute little Hello Kitty snowglobe that she would absolutely love, but unfortunately security rules on airports prevents you from bringing snowglobes onboard. I mean, come on, they wouldn ´t even provide a way for me to have it sent or anything like that. I appreciate all these security rules because they are there for a reason, but sometimes you just gotta relax. I mean, what kind of harm am I supposed to do with that? I had the receipt and the full details from the box of the thing but still my daughter won´t be getting that for christmas, cause they took it...bastards! Anyways, it ´s been a great productive year and I thank you all for that, now you have a great time on your holidays and we ´ll see you all next year."
