Napalm Records announced that the band is reduced to one member. In an official statement Ronny Thorsen said: "On 26 November, Trail of Tears completed a 10-day tour of Mexico, a tour which was in large parts ridden with logistical problems and resulted in a severe financial loss for everyone involved. As a result, I was called to the band hotel in the morning of November 28 for a meeting by the other members. Upon my arrival, I was told that because of the situation the other members had decided to end the band effective immediately. This decision was made without my consultation or approval, and thus it is left for me to clarify that Trail of Tears has not disbanded. The band will continue in a new shape and formation. Though I am very disappointed by the decision of the other band members, the decision to leave a band is an individual choice that I completely respect." Due to the short notice of these departures, Thorsen is forced to cancel the upcoming X-Mas Tour in support of Trail of Tears' forthcoming release "Existentia".Source: Newsletter

Absinth on EIS(BRECHER)!It `s getting cold. And it `s getting delicious, too! We can proudly announce cult-label TABU ABSINTH as the official board drink of EISBRECHER. Both sides have agreed on a sponsoring cooperation to help EISBRECHER having some relaxing moments on tour as well as to present themselves to the scene.
The two stylish names will show up together during some DJ parties beginning of next year for the first time and will also cooperate during the planned tour together with Dope Stars Inc. end of March. Whereby absinth on ICE/EIS(BRECHER) already melts away….

Sweden´s IN FLAMES have posted a statement on their official homepage according to some band-split rumours and current live-situation:“For the upcoming US-tour Björn will be sitting out as his wife is due to give birth to their second child. Substituting on guitar will be our good friend Henrik Danhage from EVERGREY. Next to that, we `ve planned to play the tour with Jesper, but as previously reported: Jesper is taking the rest of the year off due to personal reasons. Niklas Engelin(PASSENGER / ENGEL) will replace him for all the dates until Dec 20:th. - Details

Since a while there have already been rumours about Mike leaving RAGE, now it is confirmed. Peavy and Victor speak to the public: "From now on we won´t continue our collaboration with Mike because of personal and musical differences that have been existing for a while now and became unbearable. This cut is definitely not easy for us - but to avoid damage to RAGE we have no other choice. Unfortunately, there´s not much left from our former unity. A while ago communication between Mike and us broke down completely, so we have to pull the emergency brake. - GOREFEST - Stay unlucky with touring!
