Following the release of latest album ‘Come Ahead’, Scottish legends PRIMAL SCREAM will embark on their headliner European tour this Summer, playing in all major cities and kicking off in Oslo on June 4th. ‘Come Ahead’ was released on November 2024 and the 11 track album finds the group’s principal songwriter, vocalist and frontman Bobby Gillespie to release some of the most personal songwriting of his band’s career. The process for ‘Come Ahead’ began in 2022, at which point Bobby Gillespie had no idea if he would make another PRIMAL SCREAM album again. For the first time in a long time, the lyrics came before the music. The story came first. Bobby wrote alone, using an acoustic guitar. Ideas flowed fast, in long bursts of inspiration. This process, in tandem with encouragement from producer David Holmes, provided a new way in. Working with Holmes and PRIMAL SCREAM guitarist Andrew Innes, the ‘Come Ahead’ sessions were completed between Belfast, London and Los Angeles.- Details

Following a triumphant return to the spotlight in November 2024 with ‘Let The Flowers Grow’, his duet with Boy George, original Post-Punk icon Peter Murphy has released ‘Swoon’, a brand new single. Percussive and expansive, ‘Swoon’ is a superlative slice of Synth-Punk / Funk that captures Murphy’s voice in all its sonorous glory. Produced by Youth (Pink Floyd, The Verve, Crowded House, member of Killing Joke, The Orb, The Firemen w/Paul McCartney), the song is the first to be released from Murphy’s new album, ‘Silver Shade’, due out on 9th May 2025. Recorded at Youth’s studio in Spain, it is the long-awaited follow-up to ‘Lion’, which the pair worked on together a decade ago. A symbiotic relationship born of artistic collaboration; Murphy states that “this new album is as powerful as any of my work to date.”- Details
