DOWN BELOW represent their federal state Saxony-Anhalt at the “Bundesvision Song Contest” on 14th February 2008 in Hannover at the TUI Arena. The band recorded a German-speaking song for the first time especially for this highlight. With ‘The sand in my hand’, they'll make the favourites sweat and of course hope for the support of all the people in Saxony-Anhalt, from rock fans as well as from musically excited people from the whole republic and maybe spring the surprise.

Depeche Mode cover of 'Enjoy the silence' by dark rock band Star Industry reaches Amazon's Top 10 download charts
The cover Star Industry made of Depeche Mode's classic hit "Enjoy the silence" is charting on Amazon. The song which is featured on the bonus disc of Star Industry's latest album "Last Crusades" next to remixes by Leaether Strip, Vive La Fête and others is now moving up to the first place in Depeche Mode related tracks. The album was released on May 11th and was produced by the legenday Luc Van Acker (Anna Domino, Revolting Cocks, ...). This 3rd album marked the band's much anticipated and succesful return in 2007 which quickly resulted in concerts allover Europe. The band has now also been confirmed for next year's Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig.

Death is not the End

Vienna 1840 at the power kilometre 1918, a maelstrom washes up corpses again and again that no one was able to identify. To give a last resting place to those unknown dead people, they were buried on the same place, where they were found and so the “Cemetary of the Nameless” was created. 104 water corpses were buried there 'til the present day, but only 43 of them could be identified. On all the other crosses you'll find just one word “Nameless”.
