Enormous stage designs, cinematic projections, dancers, stilts and martial performances made the midnight live premier of THE RETROSIC on the main stage of the WGT 2007, no guest, who was in the full Agra Hall should have forgotten to this day. One year after their premier, THE RETROSIC will grant an insight into the recordings of this very concert in the frame of the WGT 2008, thanks to which a RETROSIC Live DVD can be expected for the end of the year. In correspondence with the debut album ‘Der Tod und das Mädchen’, the record label raffled a dinner with singer Dörthe Flemming, who took the job of the fairy of luck and chose the winner. It is Jana B. from Kassel. The invitation could already follow a few days later and so they met in a medieval restaurant in Hannover for a convivial feast. Dendura (USA), the Egyptian-inspired, female-fronted progressive band with belly dancers, will join co-headliners Unexpect (Canada) and Shadowside (Brazil) for the second-annual Flight of the Valkyries festival at Station 4 in St. Paul, MN, on Saturday, June 28.
