The Human League
THE HUMAN LAGUE is a living legend and one of the forerunners in electronic music. The career of this band began back in June of 1977 when Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh founded the band THE FUTURE. Another member of the band is Ad Newton who is leaving the band shortly after it's foundation to found a band himself. The name of this band is CLOCK DVA. Phil Oakley, who is a former classmate of Martyn becomes the singer and Adrian Wright who is responsible for the support with visual effects at live shows completes the line-up and in October 1977 the band name changes to THE HUMAN LEAGUE and should never change again from there on.

Legendary Fantasy Metal band BLIND GUARDIAN have contributed the main song to the new action/fantasy movie "In The Name Of The King – Dungeon Siege". On this occasion, BLIND GUARDIAN will hold a signing session at a special premiere screening of the movie on the 29th of November. This special event begins at 19.00 CET in the "UCI Kinowelt Ruhr Park" with the signing session, the movie begins at 20.00.

Out next year on Febrary 25th is the newest Goldfrapp album "Seventh Tree". The band announced the news on their Myspace page. In the posting the band described the album as a "sensual counterpoint to the glitterball glamour of 'Supernature', 'Seventh Tree' is gilded in the butterfly colours of an English surrealism shared from Lear to Lennon. (...) It shimmers and shines with the warmth of a hazy summer, an electric whirlpool over which Alison's glistening voice soars." A mouthful that is. The tracklisting is yet to be announced. Goldfrapp began writing and recording their fourth album at the end of 2006 in Bath, England.
