News from the french record label Season of Mist. Wellknown for bands like The Old Dead Tree. They signed a new band called Confessor. Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of the progressive doom-metal legends, Confessor! Emerging from over a decade of hibernation, the band has returned to form, hungrier and more focused than ever.
Once dubbed, "The world's most obstinately technical metal band", Confessor will again continue to make the words "heavy" synonymous with "progressive" and "provocative" in an effort to challenge and inspire their listeners.

Canadian death metallers Kataklysm have cancelled their participation in the X-Mass Festivals 2005 European tour this December. In an official press release, the band blame the cancellation on "the simple reason that the new album will not be ready in time to coincide with" the trek and "it made no sense" to do the tour. Instead, Kataklysm have confirmed that they will take part in the No Mercy Festivals 2006, to be followed by a series of dates across Europe.
