In a recent question and answer with fans, Vince Clarke from Erasure has revealed that a recording session for radio 1 featuring songs re-recorded from the band's first album "Wonderland" was accidently 'erased' by an engineer at the BBC. The cock-up took place because the tape was labelled as "erasure"... In the same q+a session Clarke also said that the band will be using a combination of both analog and soft-synths for their next studio album for wich work will start after the release of their previously announce acoustic album. And Clarke adds: "We are thinking of making a more dance orientated record, as electronic sounding as possible." Erasure will most probably be touring the acoustic album in April 2006 with a bunch of musicians from the States including guitar, pedal steel, banjo etc. As for Erasure's 21st Birthday next year, they haven't got any plans at the moment, but a special 'fans only gig' might be an option.Source: www.side-line.com

IN FLAMES - Final cover artwork released
The final cover artwork for the upcoming IN FLAMES album has now finally been posted online at this location. »Come Clarity« will be issued on February 6th, 2006 and has already won its first "Album Of The Month" award – at Aardshock magazine/Netherlands.
KATAKLYSM - New album contains bonus DVD
Canadian death metallers KATAKLYSM will release their new album, »In the Arms of Devastation«, as a limited-edition double-disc featuring a bonus live DVD, entitled »The End of Serenity: Live in Strasbourg«. A rough-mix version of the brand-new track 'Like Angels Weeping (The Dark)', has been posted online at the Nuclear Blast Website. The album is due on February 24th.

The happy news must have been out in the open for a while but following their Drummer Stephen, now Sharon and Robert can celibrate the birth of another WT offspring. The follwoing was stated on their website: "On Wednesday evening December 7th, Sharon den Adel gave birth to a nice little daughter. The little girl was in such a hurry that she was born 8 weeks earlier than expected. Her name is Eva Luna, weight is 1,755 gram, she has beautiful, large eyes and dark curly hair. Despite an early start, the girl and her proud parents are in good shape."
We would like to congratulate Sharon and Robert with their daughter Luna. We hope that they will have a great time being parents and that that can successfully combine parenthood with their work for Within Temptation.
