On May 11th, 2019, the Rhine once again turns into a black sea, when Jolly Roger lifts the anchor for the grand ride. Festival meets day trip with hard riffs, legendary electro waves and a unique backdrop - strictly limited to just 1,333 tickets! “Under black flag” the course leads from Cologne upstream into the legendary Siebengebirge to the historic old town of Königswinter, at the foot of the Drachenfels. On the way, four selected bands provide for increased sea state.

For the launch of BTCT, the band has teamed up with Funding Innovation to create a unique collector’s badge. The badge features a gold album featuring the official artwork of BILLY TALENT singles, studio and live albums, as well as a limited edition photo of Dustin Rabin’s band. In addition, the badges are signed by each band member in gold.

A solo album by SORROWNIGHT singer Veri Jumala will, surprisingly, be released soon. As the writing of SORROWNIGHT’s upcoming album is also at an advanced stage and it is also expected to appear later this year, the question begs why publish two albums almost simultaneously? Originally, Veri Jumala came from the acoustic genre. But since SORROWNIGHT, he has not been doing solo songs. However, for many years he has had tunes, lyrics and atmospheres building in his head, which he once again wanted to deliver through a solo project. Veri said “If I hold back these emotions and ideas, I have no more headspace for the big thing - the SORROWNIGHT debut album.”
