SEADRAKE is the new synth SUPERGROUP, consisting of singer Hilton Theissen (AKANOID), machinewizard Mathias Thürk (ex MINERVE) and bassist/keyboardist Rickard Gunnarsson (LOWE, STATEMACHINE). It’s been over 2 years since the electro and synthpop scene was graced with Seadrake’s promotion single ON THE RUN, a dark driven electro/rock hit for autobahns and night trains. Musically the song can be described as synthpop with throbbing bass lines and a touch of rock and nobody was surprised that the single was since day 1 sold out.

In The Nursery will release a new album entitled '1961' on 3rd November. 1961 is a special year - not only is it a rare strobogrammatic number (the next one will be 6009), but it is also when the ITN core duo of twin brothers Klive and Nigel Humberstone were born. The album takes inspiration from historic, literary and personal connections to that year, including the construction of the Berlin Wall, recordings of a Ford Consul, Amnesty International, the novels 'Solaris' and 'Catch-22', pioneering space travel by Yuri Gagarin and the twins place of birth - The Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital in Cliveden, Berkshire. '1961' also features several guest contributors, including a string quartet courtesy of the Up North Session Orchestra.

UK based artist KNIGHT$ is back with the 'Alligator' EP (13/10/17) produced by Martin Dubka (Tesla Boy/Ali Love) and KNIGHT$ himself. Known to some for his work with Boytronic and Scarlet Soho, this is James at his Britalo best. 'Alligator' invites the listener to hold tight and join KNIGHT$ on a three minute, breakneck journey through synth city. It contains the same 70's disco flourishes as the debut release, the rhetoric now much bolder. B-side 'Playin' It Cool' has all the swagger of Clio and Chromeo, but James' silky male tenor bringing something new to the party.
