Biffy Clyro - Ellipsis Tour
2016 was unarguably the year of BIFFY CLYRO. Although these Scotsmen have been around in the music business since 1995, it has only been this year that they've managed to conquer the German market completely. Their songs are on heavy rotation on several radio stations and they've hit the stages of a great number of festivals in 2016.

Insomnium – Winter’s Gate European Tour 2017
Finland is an evocative land. The very mention of it conjures visions of endless darkness, long, cold wintry nights and an almost oppressive bleakness. It is within this icy cauldron that the soul of INSOMNIUM was born. Their music is as epic as it is melodic, as melancholic as it is majestic and as brutal as it is beautiful. To call INSOMNIUM a Death Metal band is to do them a grave disservice.

I Heart Sharks
How about some "German-British Post-Pop from Berlin"? The members of I HEAR SHARKS, Pierre Bee (vocals), Simon Wangemann (guitar), Martin Wolf (drums), and Craig Miller (bass) describe themselves as “Two English boys. One German boy. One lost boy.” And what to these boys want? – “We want to marry Björk in a valley in Iceland. We want to run through the moss on high heels with Karin Dreijer. We want to pretend to be a polar bear with Grauzone, because then we wouldn't have to cry. We want to visit Vienna with Midge Ure, Rome with Performance and check if there's life on Mars with David Bowie. We want to live on a farm with Jeans Team, and teach Orlando Weeks some kind words whilst he brushes his teeth. We want to sleep in Metropolis.” And obviously, they want to present their latest album ‘Hideout’, which has been out since November 11, live on stage.

Einstürzende Neubauten
It was back in 1980, when Blixa Bargeld began the eternal quest for the still undiscovered sound under the name of EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN. This November, the band's first, long-awaited ‘Greatest Hits’ album was released. It is a successful, carefully selected, and "audiolicious" cross-section that represents 35 years of the band's work. All of the songs are remastered and ‘Haus der Lüge’ is also remixed. As originally intended - but was not possible at the time for a lack of financial resources - this piece is now enhanced with string and wind instruments. Of course, the title ‘Greatest Hits’ should be taken in the ironic, tongue-in-cheek spirit in which it is intended.
