BLUE OCTOBER are an Alternative Rock band from Houston, Texas, and must not be confused with the British pop band with the same name. They are probably most known for their two platinum singles ‘Hate me’ and ‘Into the Ocean’ from their 2006 album ‘Foiled’.
They have released studio albums so far, with their most recent album ‘I Hope You’re Happy’ scheduled to be released in June 2018. With their new album BLUE OCTOBER are embracing a more optimistic mindset and tone. Singer Justin Furstenfeld has been battling all kinds of mental illnesses in the past. Sticking to making music certainly has helped him to overcome these afflictions, and he has repeatedly voiced his willingness to embrace his renewed chance by telling his life through music.
