This year, on the 25th of march the GOLDEN APES will host the Dark Spring Festival 2017 for the 8th time already. True to the event’s credo this years Lineup will once again present fascinating and interesting tunes away from the typical scene-mainstream. You can expect a well balanced mixture of established and exciting new bands of the Wave- Gothic-and Postpunk-scene from all over the world. Again, in reliable tradition, the Festival is gonna take place at legendary BiNuu Club in the heart of Berlin.

Primal blues-rock duo THE PICTUREBOOKS are excited to announce the release of their new album, Home is a Heartache, on March 10, 2017 via Another Century Records. The German duo — featuring Fynn Claus Grabke [vocals, guitar] and Philipp Mirtschink [drums] — performs enticing blues-saturated heavy rock, with Fynn playing on obscure vintage guitars he buysfrom thrift shops around the world, while Philipp beats the largest possible drums he can find — no cymbals whatsoever, but rather self-made percussion like huge chains, bells, and more — with heavy duty felt beaters.- Details
