Highly Suspect, Welles

Once again, Cologne residents have the chance to marvel at Grammy nominees HIGHLY SUSPECT, the alternative rock band from Brooklyn, NYC in the very intimate surrounding of the Kantine in Cologne. Much like last year’s gig in the Luxor, this one is going to sell out fast, so get your tickets in time to have a chance to see this band in a small venue. HIGHLY SUSPECT have released their debut studio album ‘Mister Asylum’ back in 2015, which featured their smash hit single ‘Lydia’, a song that was loved by Alternative rock radio stations.

The second album ‘The Boy Who Died Wolf’ earned them Grammy nominations for ‘Best Rock Artist’ and its single ‘My name is human’ for ‘Best Rock Song’. The band also does not shy away from political statements, as singer Johnny Stevens wore a jacket with the word ‘Impeach’ to last year’s Grammy awards show. All in all, HIGHLY SUSPECT are a highly creative and entertaining trio. And Jonny’s voice is certainly one of a kind, so if you are remotely interested in the future of Rock music, come to the Kantine and find out.
