Textures
TEXTURES already released two albums of unrivalled progressive metal before anyone even came up with the term ‘Djent metal’. From their debut album ‘Polars’ they have grown from using strong influences from their heroes of MESHUGGAH to developing their very own sound. Three more successful albums followed, awarding them with worldwide headlining tours from The Netherlands all the way to India. Their sound diverges from calculated chaos to progressive episodes and ambient intermezzos. In 2016 the new album ‘Phenotype’ is to be expected which is a double album with ‘Genotype’ to be released the year after. Only two club shows in their home country this February – don’t miss out!

Halestorm + support (tba)
The American rock band HALESTORM exemplifies the exception to the rule that the world of metal music is dominated by men. Thanks to leading lady Lzzy Hale who represents the face of HALESTORM together with her little brother Arejay on drums. Their self-titled album full of classic hard rock came out in 2009. From that moment on, things have gone well for HALESTORM and they’ve proved to have a little more up their sleeve. Their new album ‘The Wild Life’ also has some pop- and southern influences. Expect to be blown away at TivoliVredenburg!
