20th-22nd of August this year MIDGARSBLOT METAL FESTIVAL will be held for the first time at Borreparken, Horten. A three-day open-air festival with folk rock , metal, true Vikings, family activities and a beer-festival of craftbeers with beer tastings and authentic mead. Midgard – In the park of Borre, where the mighty rulers of the Norwegian Vikings lived, feasted, and was laid to rest. The park was a headquarters for power and culture in the Iron – and Viking age. The park has several great grave mounds and the great Viking Hall at Borre, Gildehallen, is a unique reconstruction of a great mead hall for the viking aristocracy. This is where the festivalarea will be with an outdoor stage, the Beerfestival and the Viking market surrounding it. Here you can meet real Vikings and get a feel of the Viking life. In the daytime there will be guided tours, panel discussions, lectures, exhibitions and beer tasting from handpicked craft beer labels. - Details

“Harry Me Marry Me Bury Me Bite Me” is the second album of BLACK NAIL CABARET. After the successful release of the Single ‘Satisfaction’ in November 2014 and a thriving support for the Synth Pop veterans of CAMOUFLAGE the release of this album is a peak of their work! 10 songs, which the band describes as “Synth Noir“, balance between Classic and modern music and build a bridge from New Wave to contemporary Pop, surrounded by Emke’s stunning voice. Germany is getting silvery this summer! STAHLMANN are publishing their new album ‘CO2’ on August 28th. There will be a Single in advance called ‘Plasma’. The album of the German band from Göttingen is about chemical reactions and their effects on us. “The whole world and all kinds of interpersonal relationships only work through chemistry. It has to be right within a band, for example, but also in bed”. That’s how STAHLMANN describe their idea behind the new album. That the chemistry is right within the band can be recognized by listening to ‘CO2’.
