DAUGHTER is an Indie Folk Rock project created by vocalist/ guitarist Elena Tonra in 2010. When guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer/ multi-instrumentalist Remi Aguilella joined in, the solo act became a band. In 2013, the trio from London released their debut album ‘If You Leave’. After touring all around the globe, they recorded the follow up album ‘Not to Disappear’, which was produced by Nicolas Vernhes (ANIMAL COLLECTIVE, THE WAR ON DRUGS, DEERHUNTER).
Check out, what a fantastic live band DAUGHTER has become as they return to German stages for four gigs this October! On October 10th, there will be some folky, ambient, dreamy, and experimental soundscapes brought to life by the band in the FZW in Dortmund. DAUGHTER will bring along singer-songwriter Dan Croll as a special guest.
