Reamonn, Terry Hoax, Blue October
As happened more often in music business, it all started with an advertisement in a newspaper that in this case was made by Rea Garvey. He wouldn’t have to wait long until responses came back and with those who were responding he would later form REAMONN who first drew big attention with the hit single ‘Supergirl’, being on heavy rotation everywhere at the time. From there on, their way led them straight upwards, playing support slots for big names such as HIM, GUANO APES or ROBBIE WILLIAMS until they themselves had become a bigger name and headliner with their following albums having been certified gold and platinum. Today, REAMONN is a pillar of poppy rock music and the genre could hardly be pictured without them around.
