DIE HAPPY is an alternative rock band which was founded in the end of 1993 in Ulm / Germany. The band consists of singer Marta Jandová, Thorsten Mewes (guitar), Ralph Rieker (bass) and Jürgen Stiehle (drums). This year, DIE HAPPY will release their seventh studio album whose name is still confidential, however, up to now.

The Parlotones
At the latest since the football world championship takes place at whose opening ceremony THE PARLOTONES stood together with stars like Shakira and The Black Eyed Peas on stage, the South African Indie rock band founded in 1998 in Johannesburg might be known to many, especially since ‘Come back as heroes’ is also the ARD world championship song. Musically, the band is already a Multi-Platinum-Act and played also such big concerts as the Live Earth concert in 2007. However, THE PARLOTONES have been already on world tour with about 300 concerts that often were sold out.

TROLLFEST, the band that defines its sound as True Norwegian Balkan Metal, has released a video of live footage shot during the band’s recent appearance at the Rock In, Oslo. The two-song video shows TROLLFEST performing "Der Jegermeister", which has proved over the years to be one of the fan favourites, and opens with "Wo bin ich jetzt aufgewacht?", which features Eirik “Trollbank” Renton (URGEHALL, EIRIK RENTON AND HIS NOBLE ORCHESTRA), trading his usual place behind the drum kit with front man Jostein “Trollmannen”Austvik, to play the bouzouki, one of the several more exotic instruments that this multi-instrumentalist is able to bring to the TROLLFEST table. On June 14, 2010, on the occasion of the 8th Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards ceremony at the Indigo2/O2 Arena in London, the award for inspiration was presented to Triptykon singer/guitarist Tom Gabriel Warrior (formerly of Hellhammer and Celtic Frost). The award was handed to Warrior by friend and peer Lee Dorrian of Napalm Death/Cathedral, who also delivered the award introduction.Warrior concluded his words of acceptance as follows: "In my opinion, however, I don't deserve this award. It should instead go to Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Angel Witch, and Venom, artists who have inspired me and without whom I would not be here tonight."
