Massive Attack
MASSIVE ATTACK is a British Trip Hop band from Bristol. It was founded in 1987 by Robert "3D" Del Naja, Grantley “Daddy G” Marshall and Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles. They are known as one of the style-building bands of the Trip Hop genre and influences therefore also bands such as MORCHEEBA and PORTISHEAD. Besides their musical activities, MASSIVE ATTACK is also engaged politically very much and collects, for example, money for refugee's camps in the Middle East.

Bad Religion, Eternal Tango
They are often credited for leading the revival of punk rock during the late 1980s, as well as influencing a large number of other punk and rock musicians throughout their career. They are also known for their sophisticated vocabulary, totally unusual for a punk rock band. After a short dormant period of two years, the band reunited in 1986 and released ‘Suffer’ which is being regarded by critics as one of the most important hardcore punk albums of all time now. The next two albums, ‘No Control’ (1989) and ‘Against the Grain’ (1990), further increased the band's popularity, followed by ‘Generator’ (1992). That of course is only a little glimpse into the eventful career of this huge band.

Faith & The Muse
FAITH & THE MUSE inarguably are one of the most diverse bands the common Goth Rock and Dark Wave scene has to offer. Though it would be a bit of a limitation to pigeonhole them into these two genres only! Their influences range far beyond the boundaries other bands wouldn’t dare to cross. Folkloristic, electronic, even neo-classic elements have found their place in this sound cosmos, FAITH & THE MUSE started cultivating since being brought to life in 1994. With their newest album ‘:ankoku buto:’, released in 2009, 6 years after the last one ‘The Burning Season’; Monica Richards and William Faith once again set the bars high both in musical and visual ways.
