On 6th August, the new APOCALYPTICA single ‘End of Me’ is going to be released, preceding the aptly titled seventh album of the band ‘7th Symphony’. The track’s a collaborative effort with Gavin Rossdale, known by the prolific post grunge outfit BUSH. It is described as being a straight-forward rock ride with a lot of steam and an arrangement tailor-made for the voice of Rossdale. If he’s descending into melancholy depths, the cellos are following him; if he’s getting rousing and captivating then Toppinnen & Co are at his side. With almost a decade of experience performing for local and national audiences, Kaela Freeman will release her 2nd single “What Yo Name Is” on August 3rd. The upbeat pop, hip-hop track written and produced by Kaela’s 17-year-old brother CLIP, is being delivered to radio stations world-wide. Pluswelt Festival IX: Mesh, Clan Of Xymox, Sono, Portion Control, Scream Silence, Escape With Romeo, Dupont
Last 2-days edition of the Pluswelt festival in April was nothing but a success and it would’ve come close to heresy not to continue with the festival in 2010. For the 2010 edition, however, a few things have changed. For the first time in the event’s history, there’ll be 6 bands performing and there’s also no stylistic separation anymore like experienced in 2009. So if you’ll be attending the festival this year, you’ll get a mixed bag of styles. 2010 will have 2 Pluswelt festivals as well - in different cities this time. The series is being kicked off on 29th October with it taking place for the first time in Germany’s capital Berlin, and on 30th October a usual in Krefeld at Kulturfabrik. Now enough of the common festival talk and let’s have a look at the artists enlisted for the events:
