Club Tapper, Tallinn, Estonia
6th November 2010
Diorama, Sinine, Shirubi Ikazuchi

Well-known German dark-wave formation DIORAMA will perform in Tallinn at Club Tapper on 6th November 2010. Diorama will be supported by two very promising electronic acts from Estonia - SININE and SHIRUBI IKAZUCHI.

The latest DIORAMA studio release ‘Cubed’ saw the light on 19th March 2010. The figurative picture of a cube is the guiding theme of the album - a confined area serving as a living space, be it a stage, a prison or a shelter. ‘Cubed’ songs result in a self-contained work of art that adds new facets to DIORAMA's unmistakable musical identity - between melancholy and irony, snappiness and bulkiness, genius and madness, ordinariness and utopia. With ‘Cubed’, DIORAMA is sharpening their role as creative engine within the black scene and beyond its boundaries. Those who have encountered DIORAMA at one of their live performances know about the unique experience the band creates in terms of emotionality, power and virtuosity.

Estonian band SININE melds dreamy Electronica with darkwave sounds, creating unique dark-pop that is both intimate and immense. “Some music is meant simply to entertain. Some is art. Some art is entertaining. SININE's music surely is art and comes from deep within. It is heartfelt, honest and deep, and of course therefore it is an entertaining journey to travel through the songs”, says Accession Records chairman Adrian Hates, who signed SININE to release their debut album ‘Butterflies’. ‘Butterflies’ stayed in Deutsche Alternative Charts top 10 for several weeks. SININE merge deep atmospheres with a distinctly northern sound, crafting music that can be both warmly comforting as well as powerfully raging. There is something magical about Meesit's musical handwriting and creations, something that grabs you and won’t let go. Pop music has rarely sounded so heartfelt, meaningful and timeless. With SININE, Mauno Meesit is writing an autobiographical book - a book of music, sound and time inspired by life itself. SININE was awarded as Estonian "New Comer of 2009" at Radio 2 Music Gala Show and was nominated at the Estonian Music Awards 2010 in category “Electronic Music Artist Of The Year”

SHIRUBI IKAZUCHI is a composer of electronic music strongly influenced by classic Japanese Electronica, rock and gothic artists such as NOBUO UEMATSU, IKE YOSHIHIRO, MASSIVE ATTACK, THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE, FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON, etc. Shirubi creates slightly ambient-ish trip-hop with a rather dark feel to it. Sung with terror, horror and sorrow, her music generates an atmosphere of dark future ages in a post-apocalyptic world and shares experiences from this extreme yet mystical environment. When playing live, Shirubi performs the vocals, while various guests handle the instrumental portions.
