Faith & the Muse
The US-American Gothic Rock / Dark Wave band FAITH & THE MUSE was founded in 1993 by Monica Richards and William Faith in Los Angeles. Both disposed at this time already of band experience: Monica Richards was singer of the band STRANGE BOUTIQUE and William Faith was active for bands as for example MEPHISTO WALZ.
In 2009, they published their latest album ‘:ankoku butoh:’ which probably reflects the wide artistic spectrum of the band best of all albums. On it the artists, who write and record all songs themselves, argue with elements of the Shinto religion. The use of traditional Japanese instruments, for example the Taiko drums, add a Far Eastern atmosphere to the music.

Foreigner
Already with their first album, the band FOREIGNER have created a million seller, spawning such evergreens as ‘Feels Like The First Time’ or ‘Cold as Ice’. The following albums would continue that spree of success, but with the #1 anthem ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ taken off their most successful album ‘Agent Provocateur’, they made themselves an everlasting monument in pop music history. Following ‘Inside Information’ was the last one being that successful for quite some time, and the band had to overcome some odds. But in 2009, they came back with a new record, named ‘Can’t Slow Down’, which shows them back at the top of their game, being an incredible success in the charts, just as with critics and fans. Some called it a return to old glories.

GWAR, Despise & Conquer
Wherever they appear, they’re sure to leave an impression with everybody witnessing. Of course, we’re talking about American Shock Rockers of GWAR who with their imaginative monster dresses alone already can charm crowds for hours. Just imagine the result when adding with extraordinary live shows, including frequently fights, fire breathing or humorous re-enacting of politically and morally taboo themes. Also they’re frequently making fun of celebrities. Ever since the band’s formation back in 1984, they’ve gained world-wide recognition for those trademarks and have built up a large following by now, even though the band didn’t make it easy for them at times, experimenting with partly obscure genres like on 1995’s ‘RagNaRok‘. Their latest achievement is the album ‘Lust In Space’, released in 2009, but news says a new album is coming in 2011.
