Chapeau Claque
According to its self-introduction, the Berlin and Erfurt-based band consisting of Maria Antonia Paula Schmidt (vocals, compositions), Peer Kleinschmidt (piano), Jörg Wähner (drums), Timo Klöckner (guitar, accordion) and Tim Schäfer (bass) regards its musical style as influenced by electro, chanson, pop and romanticism. Representing the federal state of Thuringia, CHAPEAU CLAQUE took part in this year’s Bundesvision Song Contest and finished sixth after performing the song `Pandora Kiss Miss Tragedy´ taken from the recent album `Fabelweiß´ which was released in 2008.

Die HappyWhile presenting their acoustic set in this year’s spring, front woman Marta and her guys revealed that they were collecting the following’s most favourite songs that should be found on a special best of-compilation entitled with `Most Wanted´ reflecting 16 years of DIE HAPPY. On 17th July 2009, they finally released this piece of work containing an audio CD with all in all 17 tracks (16 all-time fan favourites plus the previously unreleased song `Rebel in You´), two DVDs and a booklet. Furthermore, it didn’t take a long time until the band announced the new tour dates with regard to the recent album. Thus, DIE HAPPY will hit the road again and you will be able to experience the popular German rock formation live on stage in December.

Marilyn Manson
Some people consider the band members as devilish representatives of a degenerated youth culture, others love their music which is influenced by metal and industrial elements, but all agree on one thing: MARILYN MANSON´s provoking outer appearance, the socio-critical lyrics and sensational performances led to a certain world-wide cult status. In this year’s May, the formation with the current line-up of vocalist Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson, guitar player and bassist Twiggy Ramirez, keyboarder Chris Vrenna, drummer Ginger Fish and bassist Andy Gerold released the meanwhile eighth album entitled with `The High End of Low´ continuing the tradition of gloomy alternative rock sounds.

Silbermond Within the scope of their upcoming “Nichts passiert” tour, the Bautzen-based pop / rock band SILBERMOND will also come to Frankfurt. Due to successful German language ballads such as `Durch die Nacht´ (2004), `Symphonie´ (2004), `Das Beste´ (2006) and `Irgendwas bleibt´ (2009), the formation has become very popular in Germany over the years. Front woman and vocalist Stefanie Kloß, Johannes Stolle (bass), Thomas Stolle (guitar, piano) and Andreas Nowak (drums) laid the foundation of SILBERMOND in 1998 when two of them formed the band EXAKT.

U.D.O.
The German heavy metal band was named after their front man Udo Dirkschneider who was also vocalist of the well-known formation ACCEPT. The current U.D.O. line-up consists of Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), Stefan Kaufmann (guitar), Igor Gianola (guitar), Fitty Wienhold (bass) and Francesco Jovino (drums). All in all 12 studio albums such as the debut `Animal House´ (1987) and `Dominator´ (2009), several live albums, single releases, compilations and three DVDs as well as tours with OZZY OSBOURNE and SAXON speak for themselves and the band’s merits in the German metal scene.
