Black Metallers ORCRIST have inked a deal with Netherlands based label Painkiller Records (a sub label of Apollon Entertainment UN Limited), for the release of the band’s third full-length album “We Come In War”.
The new album marks a change in direction for ORCRIST, with their traditional Old-School black metal approach being expanded to include slower, more atmospheric tracks. Commenting on the new sound, founder and drummer GRAV said: “Personally I am a huge fan of the early black metal sound, but a band can’t sit still, or you just end up releasing album after album that all sound the same. The addition of MANE from DEFIXIO on guitars and bass, who does all the writing, and GOBLIN from the Norwegian band ISVIND on vocals, meant that we were able to approach the music from an entirely different angle, whilst still keeping to the underground roots and ethos that we all share”.

They make a strong statement on their website:
A lot can happen in three years. In 2006, My Dying Bride completed work on the ninth studio album A Line Of Deathless Kings. A title that acknowledged the timelessness of the music we pour our heart and soul into. An album that revered the band's past, and also looked to the future.
