Finnish melodic metallers SONATA ARCTICA have unveiled the new artwork, track listing as well as the album title of their forthcoming album. The Days Of Grays will see a worldwide release (excluding Asia) through Nuclear Blast Records on September 18th, September 22nd in North America.

Finish vocalist from Nightwish, MARCO HIETALA will perform together with the Dutch rock formation DELAIN. On saterday 31 October 2009 the band will give a special show in Broerenkerk Zwolle. More guests will preform on 'Novemer Rain - The Final edition.' Tickets are on sale 12th July, upcoming Saturday, on ticketservice. Soon more on the Delain website.

The big news in the ARCH ENEMY camp is that Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, etc.) has completed the mixing and mastering of the new record, "The Root Of All Evil". This special release features a selection of completely re-recorded songs from the first three albums, "Black Earth", "Stigmata" and "Burning Bridges", and will be released via Century Media Records on 28 September.- Details

The third annual month-long iTunes Live Festival will take place at the Roundhouse in London (UK), and will include daily free performances by dozens of artists. A-ha will take the stage on Friday 24 July. The lineup for the festival also includes Simple Minds, Oasis, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, The Saturdays, and so on. For those unable to attend - or those who want to relive the experience - all the performances will be recorded and made available for download on the iTunes site just like it was the case with the previous editions.
