After Norway, the new a-ha single "Foot of the Mountain" has now also been released to the rest of the world as a digital 3-track download via iTunes. Only Germany, where the band always has had a very strong fanbase, gets the luxury of a physical single (a 2-track holding the album version and the radio edit). Dependent releases Haujobb Homes & Gardens 2.0 as limited CD edition and swaps downloads with .wavsThe recently resurrected label Dependent bows down to the demand of fans for a physical version of the landmark industrial album "Homes & Gardens 2.0". The remastered digital version of the album has just been made available through various online portals like iTunes, Musicload and Amazon in Europe, and a North American digital release will follow soon. After the announcement of the release, fans demanded a physical version and a high-resolution digital version of the album, and Dependent intends to comply with both requests.

A WASTE OF TALENT, one of the projects of producer, and CARPATHIAN FOREST bass player VRANGSINN (NATTEFROST, SECHT) is streaming “Machines Kept Pumping Blood From Earth”, a track from the band’s next album, on MySpace at www.myspace.com/awasteoftalentnorway. The new album, to be called “The Last Remains of Humankind” will be a concept album set in a not too distant future where few humans remain alive. According to VRANGSINN, the album is “music to listen to while you wait for your own extinction”.

Eine Nacht im Bergwerk V:VNV Nation, Unheilig, Covenant, Eisbrecher
Swiss concert and event organizer Divus Modus celebrated its 10th birthday and it would have never come to this if it weren’t for all the people coming to the concerts and with that support them. That’s why they organize this very special evening and four live bands, namely VNV NATION, COVENANT, UNHEILIG and EISBRECHER will celebrate together with you 300 metres below ground in a drift vault as large as the X-Tra and the Z7 club and each band plays a full show (90 minutes). Simultaneously there’ll be two party floors in other drifts. This will surely be an event you won’t soon forget.

On Thursday, May 28th 09 Sven will perform together with Daniel Myer (Architect, Haujobb, Covenant) and others at the WGT- Preopening Party at Moritzbastei, Leipzig. A performance of electronic coverversions is planned, but we won't reveal more here... (http://www.moritzbastei.de/site/programm/live/article.php?sid=6340)On Saturday, May 30th, 09 Sven will DJ at Darkflower (http://www.darkflower.de/), together with Oswald Henke (Goethes Erben, Fetisch:Mensch), Falk (Kirlian Camera), Darrin Huss (Psyche), Louis Manke (Staubkind) und Andy K (Melotron).
Both events are free for WGT- visitors with ticket (wristband), everyone else has to pay a small amount...
