She is an exceptional vocalist and most notable as being the second half of the legendary duo DEAD CAN DANCE which broke up in 1998 and he is deemed as the synth pope and while that surely is an over the top statement of some press representative there can be no doubt about the fact that he’s one of the most significant and influential actors of the electronic music scene. The Berlin-based project EDEN WEINT IM GRAB will release a very special album on 6th November 2009, comprising poems of the Austrian expressionist Georg Trakl (1887-1914) instead of own lyrics. Following the dark metal albums ‘Traumtrophäen Toter Trauertänzer’and ‘Trauermarsch Nach Neotopia’, this album is a foray into new musical territory and can’t be classified as metal anymore. Actually, you can’t even call them “Songs” for ‘Der Herbst des Einsamen’ contains 12 sinister sound collages, blended to a diversified mixture somewhere between music, lyric recitation and radio drama with the help of film score elements, horror movie atmospheres and ambient sounds.- FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND - Best of album Your History Is Mine in September
