Finally! On July 10th the band entered the Abyss studio together with producer Peter Tägtgren to begin the recording of a new, yet untitled, full-length album. Not sure how long it’ll take to finalize and nail the new stuff, but they’re roughly expecting to spend the next 4-5 weeks or so in the Studio.Since they won’t have regular access to internet while they work on the new record, they have set up a Twitter account. This way the band can text in short updates to keep you all as updated as possible throughout the entire recording session. You’ll find them on Twitter at http://twitter.com/DarkFuneral

Colos-Saal, Aschaffenburg, Germany,24th July 2009
Ohrenfeindt
Just imagine the following ingredients: A musical combination of AC/DC, TORFROCK, NAZARETH and ROSE TATTOO, a harp, German lyrics, St. Pauli-local colour including biker outfits in proper style. The result is called OHRENFEINDT. Since 1994, the band from Hamburg’s red-light district “Reeperbahn” has impressed many biker souls and lovers of authentic Power Rock. A lot of appearances at biker events, festivals and clubs as well as the long-players `Schmutzige Liebe´ (2003), `Rock’n’Roll Sexgott´ (2005) and `Mit Vollgas und Blaulicht´ (2007) made the formation attain cult status in this scene.

On 4th September you should be careful as that’ll be the day when the debut full-length of LAST ONE DYING sees the light of day and relentlessly pour down on you. With ‘The Hour of Lead’ they will be causing a lead storm and impressively prove, why they’re the ones to survive until the end. The debut has been produced by Patrick “Pedi” Karwatka and will be released via Good Old Boys Records. The band’s sound has impressively evolved over the 3 years of its existence. Even though taking elements of Heavy Metal Hardcore, Modern Metal, Thrash, New Wave of American Heavy Metal and Metalcore into their sound, it’s impossible to pigeonhole them into a specific genre. Songs like the incredibly sung title track, the gut kicks ‘Annabel Lee’ and ‘Hate Me’ (feat. Mantas, Ex-Venom) or the mosh monster ‘Far Away’ draw their tension from the brutal betas and hyper melodic guitar work, as well as the eclectic vocals ranging between clean and scream sections.- Details

The Berlin-based band live unleashes melodic, loud, party-committed punk rock with balls and catchiness alarm. That already happened on 300 shows and festivals between Kiel and St. Gallen i.e. as support for DIE ÄRZTE on their 2008 Jäzzfest open air tour on invitation of the band. Convinced by the live qualities of the four-pack, Rod Gonzalez insisted on producing their debut album, slated for an autumn release. The whole thing was mixed in April 2009 by Philsen Hoppen at his Transportraum studio in Brelin-Kreuzberg, where bands like the BEATSTEKS or SEED already put the finishing touches on their discs. As harbinger for ‘4’, the single ‘Something in your Eyes’ has already been released at the end of May.- GREEN FROG FEET - Its Okay - the new video clip!
